Chlorphenamine 10mg per 1ml ampoule

Draw up using a 5 micron filter needle
Infusion fluids
Not required - product ready for use
Methods of intravenous administration
Slow intravenous injection
- Administer over 1 minute
- May be further diluted with Sodium chloride 0.9% to a convenient volume to aid administration (ref 1)
Dose in adults
Usual dose
- Give 10mg to 20mg stat
- Maximum dose is 40mg in 24 hours
Storage
- Store below 250C
- Protect from light
